My main issue with the powdertoy at the moment is that wood does nothing but catch on fire too easiy, as well as grow vine. basically useless. It's only use is pretty much decoration.
However, I propose that wood could be improved by:
-allowing it to grow like shield (rings) after periods of time (does not do this unless change in tmp, to not break saves)
-turn a different color like coal when heated
-absorbs water like spng, moves it like pipe
-can"water" (turn to vine) plants touching it with this absorbed water
SOMETHING to make it have a greater number of uses, because for the life of me, I find it just an underglorified c4.
Any ideas to put up here would be great.

Ehh, WOOD ignites on fire if it's temp is high enough, it should only turn into COAL when it's submerged (either in powders or liquids), when it's temp is high and while under high pressure. But i like WOOD today, it's an medieval building material ._. (along w/ CNCT and STNE)
I would like this. I am looking forward for new elements, but i think mods should improve older elements too and add a bit of realism, dont come say that PT isnt made to be real cause i know that, but i and i think many others want to see some realism in this game. I am really looking forward for improving old elements rather than making new elements. I think one or two elements a month is good enough, if they add too many elements we wont learn to use them :).
EDIT: Sorry my story doesnt have a point, it would break many saves anyways id like it maybe they make it somehow.

What happened too "Breaking saves" ??????? You cant really change elements already in game... It would break hundreds of saves...(Unless something happend while i was gone for nearly a year...?)

that means, if wood has tmp of 1 or more, it would react the way he explained.
Most old saves have wood with tmp 0.
