Even if wikipedia is unreliable the Universe is everything though. Everything in existence. Its just a simple word created to describe everything. Theres nothing deep too it at all its very simple.

If you cant prove it then its just a simple statement. "Our dream are us seeing through the real persons' eyes..." Wow really? I didnt know in that one dream where it looked like i was in 3rd person... But turns out that kid on tricycle that looked exactly like me when i was 5 was really being watched by someone and i was inside there head! Did i also mention that kid on the tricycle was trying to avoid lightning bolts being thrown by Zeus? And it was also in my backyard.. Jeese i must a heavy sleeper! You sir have opened my eyes thank you. All those dreams were really reality! Like that one dream where a monster with green eyes was eating me! Turns out the person being eaten wasen't me it was someone else and i was in there head! Or that one dream with BEN? I didnt know people could throw up a billion spiders and breath fire! Really.... I didnt know kids with blonde hair and creepy smiles could do that!(Which means i must be able too do the same!)

I think dreams are caused by what you were thinking about as you went to sleep, and/or what you experienced recently or in your day...but like you said, altered.
