Poll on Nuclear Fusion

Before anyone else posts against having it removed, have you tried the fusion in the latest 79.3 beta? It's a lot better and easier to control. I could also completely remove SING from CO2 fusion, but I don't want to take it out of O2 fusion completely.

@everyonewhowantsitremoved: Well the sing is supposed to represent the little singularities formed when particles collide(usually like in a particle collider) so it doesn't really violate much. AND HOW MANY TIMES MUST I SAY IT: IVE BUILT A FUSION POWER PLANT. I EVEN HAVE A DESTROYABLE VERSION(using titanium from the beta) THAT HAS NOT BEEN RELEASED! The most I'd be willing to do is POSSIBLY(and I'm not too enthused about it) considering the removal of SING from the CO2 fusion step. Had to bring out the passion argument to drive my point home.

Oh wow! I've just noticed you've had a promotion. Congratz!

I'm confused about all these fusion types... I'll need to download the source tomorrow.

...Fusion in the latest beta still involves a whole bunch of particles exploding, only to be sucked into massive pressure vortexes and disappearing forever >_>

I can still imagine the end result of fusion eventually being molten iron at the very top, the fusion stopping there

No offense, but you're not the "original" suggester of fusion.

plspls remove sing bcoz its breaking my reactors :(
Actually, the devastation element is awesome. So useful in fusion bombs.

SING should be removed from one of the fusions, not all 3.

This is how I designed fusion (which even though @BoredInSchool may not have been the original suggester, I got the idea from him):

SING is only produced from CO2 and O2 fusion (there are 4 fusion steps now). O2 fusion needs a Newtonian gravity source, so just don't include that in your reactors. It only has like a 1 in 1000 chance of being created in CO2 fusion, so it shouldn't be a problem. Also, I specifically made it so that you could prevent CO2 fusion from happening if the initial temperature is not too high. Do some experimenting, a fusion reactor has been done with the old buggy way, so i'm sure it can be done with the new way even better too. Also, try using diamond or VOID(SING) to get rid of the SING. In real life, fusion that takes place at the center of stars isn't that controllable anyway, it is useful for bombs.

Edit: Also, think of making the reactor work as a challenge. I'm sure many people can do it.

No matter what, there must be at least one step with sing.

EDIT: the opinion has triumphed. In an effort to keep this thread from turning into "World War Flame," I have decided to remove SING from CO2(but not OXYG) I HOPE YOU ARE ALL HAPPY!!!

Mabye SING could be changed to be less destructive.  Also if SING generated neutonian gravity it could create an eternal chain reactio as long as there is fuel.

Is Jacob's change in the most recently published beta? I didn't see any difference when I tried it. o.o
