*clears throught* <--- Possible spelling failure?
Noa: We had great internet, all fine and dandy when suddenly Optus shuts off our internet saying because we were late on several bills they revoked our internet permanently...
Now to telstra... we ordered a phone & modem from them, the modem came on thursday but wouldnt work, they said they needed to activate it and said they would do it the next day... I checked it after school and it STILL didnt work... D:
They said there is a fault in the line (WTF why did they not know that before...) and they would come fix it today 7PM, im at my mothers house for the week so i cant acctually check the internet there :/
Whats your opinion on this?
I just hate Telstra all together... They are very good at stuffing stuff up.
About ten weeks ago, my father ordered Telstra Internet service and modem... They said that the service would be activated in about ten days, and the modem would arrive soon after that.
About two weeks after that, my Father rang up to see why it had not been connected, they said they had already set it up, and then realised they had not (it was connected the next day). One week later, he rang up about the modem and they said they had no record of us ordering the product. One week later they said they had lost it. One week later they said they sent it to the wrong address. One week later they said they had once again sent it to the wrong address. Yet another week later, they said they had yet again sent it to the wrong address. We received it a week later, except there were NO cords included.
My advice is to never again choose Telstra. My father organized to use Telstra without any consultation with anyone that knew what the Internet was. Telstra is for people that don't know any better...
From experience, Optus isn't that great either... iinet is the best for most people.
