To add Plastic or to not?

    - can be used as an insulator
    INSL

    - impact resistance protects substances from high pressures and bomb impacts (like bullet proof armour/tank armour)
TTAN, a 2x2 pixel wall of TTAN will completely block pressure.

    - Can change the color of the light/bend light
    Glass...? (GLAS)

    - Keeps substances hot/cold
Use GoL or TRON (for cooling)

    - Can be moulded to form any shape
Moulding stuff using pressure? Seems like a good, but near-impossible idea.

    - Traps air/moisture(steam) P.S. IN THE REAL WORLD THIS PROPERTY IS USED TO KEEP FOOD FRESH
    ...TPT Doesn't have Food.

    - keeps flammable substances safe (unless you use flammable plastic)
    DMND + INSL + TTAN

-Some Plastics have the properties of rubber (flammable/water resistance)
GEL has both, flame and water resistance.

Plastic would be formed when oil was mixed with another substance, said substance would exist solely for the sake of mixing with oil to make plastic. If the formation of plastic from oil depended on heat or pressure then it would break saves in which those heat and pressure conditions occured already. So we need a "binder" element that takes the oil (monomer liquid) and turns it into plastic (polymer plastic). When the binder is mixed with oil, the entire mixture solidifies into plastic. This COULD BE DONE.

But the question here isn't whether it can be done or not. It's whether it can be of any good use. As @boxmein and @EqualsThree have explained, most of the properties are already taken by another element, or just have little or no other use.

(Oil has a lot of carbon and plastic is made from oil so you don't need oil you need carbon)

I feel that plastic has a lot of uses, if it didn't than why would humans be using the material. Its nice to have only DMND,TTAN,TRON,GOL or GLAS but wouldn't it be cool if we had both

You say that i should use:

    _______________________________
    TTAN
    _______________________________
    INSL
    _______________________________
    GLASS
    _______________________________
    DMND
    _______________________________
    GELL
    _______________________________

IN ORDER TO HAVE PLASTIC I THINK THAT IT WOULD BE SILLY TO PUT THESE ELEMENTS SIDE BY SIDE AND CALL THEM PLASTIC

Combining elements shouldn't be a reason to add an element. Except group elements such as LIFE.
Provide uses which can't be accomplished without your element.

    Sure! let's add it.

Plastics don''t have one use they have many uses, which i listed before.

I want to add plastic because it can be used for a variety of didn't things and in a variety of different experiments, i know it can be replaced by other things (not accurately) but no one element can be bullet proof, acid resistant, water resistant, flame resistant, trap water and heat but plastic and thats why you can't use other elements for it

The point he's making is: is there anything new plastic can do, rather than things we can already do in one form or another.

There are many uses for plastics

    - can be used as an insulator
    - impact resistance protects substances from high pressures and bomb impacts (Dose become damaged on impact) (noting else is exactly like this)
    - Can change the color of the light/bend light
    - Keeps substances hot/cold
    - Can be moulded to form any shape
    - Traps air/moisture(steam)
    - keeps flammable substances safe (unless you use flammable plastic)
-Some Plastics have the properties of rubber (flammable/water resistance)

    New things it can do

-instead of trapping water like a sponge it traps moisture
-protects objects from pressure and bomb attacks but it isn't indestructible not even DMND is in the real world
-Protects objects from flame/water unlike shield or other metals it would not be able to be sparked
    - like rubber its non conductive (if you need an element which doesn't conduct electricity or break on high pressure)
    - as a liquid you can mould the substance by heat or air

    Isn't water moisture?
DMND is the only immutable solid and it'll stay that way.
Molding as in? Like molten salt or molten sand?
    >Okay, I've poked enough at him for today.
