Actually mass does not affect the falling distance. We're assuming this is on Earth with the simple acceleration due to gravity as 9.81m/s^2

There are sooo many vague parts to the question.

First of all, is the distance purely vertical or is that the length of the arc?
Is the average velocity horizontal? Or is it both horizontal and vertical and measured during the fall?
