Walls don't have heat, plus I've been puzzled for a long time for this, but if you try enough you can solve it with other stuff, for example using PUMP.

Oh, right.. That's how I did it. Portals on both sides of a regular wall, blocks pressure but allows particles. For heat, do a little tinkering.
