    Well, read the title.

I like using science to make things go boom, does that count?

    Meh, pyrotechnics count.

Used to be, but then I went over to physics when I realized that that I can do even cooler things.

    Tesla coil.

    I am.
I haven't had much chemistry @ school yet but I do a lot of it at home.
My room is littered with all kinds of jars with blue, green liquids and powders ;) (All made from copper, by the way.)
There's some homemade copper sulphate in there, too.
I like making crystals as well. (Fairly sure this is some form of CuCl2)

@Neospector I do high voltage experiments as well. Includes homemade transformers that pump out yellow lightning, about a foot long and high voltage DC current.

If you ever want to try electrolysis with 650 VDC, don't do it. Works just as well as 6,5 volts only it may create some yellow sparks here and there. And as water releases hydrogen when you do this..(It actually went POP, pretty funny)

My dad has a degree in chemistry, and my friends dad has a PhD in it. So I'm pretty interested.

same, I love physics. Chemistry may go fizz and pop, but physics can be SHI- *apocalypse*

I like chemistry, however I rarely like the actual experiments and practical applications... I just sit at a desk doing equations, and figuring out concepts... When it gets down to figuring out the angles between each atom, it is hard to be obsessed.
