hi
what output does your games console have? if itscomething like component or compostie or phono then you will need a capture card, they are about £15 on ebay or 24 new! (try amozen or maplins.co.uk) and for music and to take screen captures go to www.dvdvideosoft.com and download the full package, then you can go to youtube and use the youtube to mp3 converter! and also go to video and video screen recorder to record what on your screen and take photos! also you need a movie editor! i use serif movei plus but its about £70 so i think its a lil over your budget but if you have windows, windows movie maker comes with it! and  dont get what u mean by your camera isnt a potatoe or toaster! but you will need a webcam and a mounted camera (an ip camera or a cctv comera conected to your capture card will work) and a handheld! its a very good idea to have several comeras when doing a video including instrcutions so people can see from all around! also its a good idea to use a mivie editor with split screen or something! if your tv has picture in picture that helps so you can see whats going on on each camera! also i got a cheap monitor off ebay! if you can find on old tv or a screen for maybe 30 something punds that helps so you can see! and your camera needs zoom, digital is best. and always have someone holding the camera who isnt silly! you dont want someone who messes around! you need someone who holds the camera stably and can pan and zoom well! it is also good to not make it 1 video! do the zooms and pans in a seperate video so you can easily re-shoot the scene. I mean so you have a bit of video then you stop for under a second and then record again then pan then stop and start so its all in seperate videos!
also a peco-camera is very useful!
they are liny cameras about 2 inches deep and about 1 cm diameter! they are usefull as they can go on cars helicopters and stuff like that! i use one on a helicopter to do above shots! it really is useful!
also a old laptop that cna go around with you is good! and depending on where you do it you may need extenion leads or anything like that! i have a shed at the end of my garden with loads of comoutor and power which is usefull so if u have a shed running power is a cool place to shoot videos inside but not in your house. its also usefull as you can change things unlike in your house!

no, its not very good the youtube onse as theres not much of an option and everyone chooses the same, i recomend anything with flowers for you. LOL not really
