On Dan-Ball and what not the laser is one direct beam not a beam of un connected particles.

@MassacreLand (View Post) Powder Game really cannot be compared to The Powder Toy. Its okay, but TPT is like 5x better, not to mention you can mod it... anyway, I don't know about lasers. It has been suggested, and there are photons, but I see that you want a beam...I'm not sure how to make that in a mod either, otherwise i would. 

It would be useful if it could travel instantly and act like photons. This can be used in  electronics maybe. Or just for destruction.

Anyways, I don't like this idea. It's funnier to do something yourself than just click ready element called laser.

mod the photon element so it spawns at a high temperature, then mod the colour code and u have ur laser. I dont really see the use though...
