Just another suggestion.

What are you on? WATR + GLOW Makes DEUT. What do you mean by it's already dead and changing it to that will break saves? Changing what to what will break saves?

That is chain but not what I am talking about necessarily.
I'm talking about  complex chains of reactions that DO NOT result in or involve "Kaboom"

The good thing about these none aggressive chain reactions is that they can be used for interesting systems.
hmmm... for instance I could create a setup with the basic water reaction chain that would allow me to create a switch for an electronic system (obsolete but that isn't the point) I could evaporate and condensate to create distilled water then add salt to the water when I want the electric current to start flowing again.  There are more interesting chains like this in the game I just think there should be more, maybe even more complex, none aggressive reaction chains.

I had once asked about SOAP neutralizing ACID, like a base neutralizes an acid in real life, to make water. People began arguing about how soap isn't a base (it is, but that isn't the point).

I don't even remember whom I was arguing with.

How about a reaction with YEST and warm WATR? When you mix YEST with WATR that is at 45 C, YEST will make 2 byproducts. One would be GAS with the ctype of alcohol, the other would be CO2. When you cool down GAS, it will condense into alcohol. We already have this working in a mod but it would be cool to implement it in the official version.

this could be kind of usefull. like, how when you corrode a metal with acid it creates salt. good idea man ^^

Okay here is the thing though guys. If they were to add some new reaction chains they would have to not break saves. Therefore they could not include new reactions between existing elements. Keep that in mind.

My mod is being filled up full of cool reactions like this.
Stick around a couple of weeks and you can see it! :-)

That is specifically why I stated YEST could make a reaction since hardly anyone uses it. I don't think almost anyone uses it in warm water either.
