Deco console

Hi, i forgot how to mass apply deco to a single element using console, and could not find anything when i searched site, so what is the command to change an elements colour, i tried: "!set color metl "#b2b2b2"" but nothing happened.

If you search 'decoration layer command' you may come across a post by me saying the Lua function is 'dcolour'. If you search 'dcolour', you get me posting the above link.
