Old Mac

    I am using a mac running an older version of OSX, and I can't use TPT with it.
    Can someone compile (right world?) a version of the beta to play on it?

    Sorry, but if your computer is using a PowerPC core, it simply isn't strong enough to run curet versions of the game. Below, there is a link to older releases. These are all the releases of TPT by Simon, up to v43, since it hasn't been updated in a while. There should be some versions you can run.

    I'm using a mac though, and it's capable of playing TPT without lagging
    and the title is kind of misleading, it's a recent mac, but running OSX 10.5.8

    I'm also using a Mac, although it's running the newest (10.7) OS available. Would you mind posting the model and specifications of your computer?

    Anyways, as MasterMind has stated below, you need a newer OS. Snow Leopard only costs $30 (probably less now that it is updated), I would strongly recommend upgrading it.

    Hate to tell you this but there's nothing you can do, other than use an older version, unless you can convince your school to upgrade it's computers.

    i would say that you should download the version from a different computer, (one that can download the files) then put it on a jump drive or email it to yourself where you can access it from your school computer.  if your school doesnt allow jump drives than just sneak it in there and copy quickly(it is not a big file)

    that should work
