Nuclear Fission Is Fun!

    Hey There Forum,

    In Powder I Enjoy Making Nuclear Reactors, And As I Know A Fair Amount About Nuclear Physics, I Wanted To Make A Little Request, Could We Have An Element That Works In The Same Way As A Fission Control Rod (Neutron Absorber).

    Just For A Little Background, A Nuclear Fission Control Rod (Lets Call Them An NFC From Now On) Is A Rod Of Chemicals That Absorbs Neutrons With Out Reacting Itself, Therefore Slowing Or Stopping The Rate Of Fission In Plutonium, Caesium, Iodine And Thorium Reactions.

    If You Guys Could Make That It Would Make Nuclear Reaction Simulations Much More Realistic And Much Easier To Control!

    I think a neutron absorber would be a good idea, but Lead was rejected, Lead being a neutron absorber.

    Also, I guess VOID would work. Kinda.

    Boron is a neutron absorber...
    It's also incredebly tough and a P-Type semiconductor

    Could be done... Maybe in my mod I'll make it

    sorry bout the text guys ( I got an itch shift finger obviously ) Im aware of how massively in accurate the powder toys view on nuclear reactions is but thats a story for another post. VOID could work if there was some property editing to be done, for instance make it so VOID only takes in nutrons and no other particles, I'm sure there is some command in the console to be done but I honestly don't see the point in doing it that way. when you talk about your mod (tommig) do you know what code language powder is written in on the mac?

    I have suggested making improvements to void so that voids ctype is what would be erased. lets hope it will be accepted.
