Need help getting music off of an Ipod

    Apple does not let you take music from an ipod directly, you need to use other software, google.

    iTunes, actually. You can also use iTunes to sync your apps onto other devices. When you plug your iPod/iPhone into a computer which has iTunes installed on it, it should start the synchronization process automatically.
    Having it sync the music is a toggled option.

    It does not, lol. Only songs purchased from iTunes can go from iPod -> iTunes, obviously. Personal songs (probably illegal) cannot be obtained (put onto the computer) through iTunes on a random computer. Syncing music puts the songs you already have on the computer onto the iPod, which is not what he wants to do.

    ah thx, i looked at a few programs but none actually worked , i guess ill try and find one that does
    but its good to know i NEED a program , i was hoping there would a way to do it without one

    You can use SharePod, it's free and copies all files from your iPod to your PC.
