Hmm... Try mixing the copper with hydrochloric acid... Burn the hydrogen produced - *POP* (and possibly - if you get enough - some missing eyebrows)

Try finely grinded Aluminium powder, and if you want real stuff, mix it with sodium chloride ( Or is it Potassium chloride? ), throw in the fire and run
