    Jackeea:

    Petrol:
    Water+Lava=Obsidian
    dosnt it?
Now turn minecraft off and come into the real world!

Actually petrol isn't completely incorrect. Some types of lava, when cooled form obsidian. As mentioned, it is a volcanic glass.

    Darkyhard:

I need that for making a furnance. I want to make it without DMND through.

Try SHLD. It's destroyable and non-meltable.

There's virtually always a work-around for the petty inabilities of the many different elements. Mess around for long enough and you'll figure out how to work it out.

I modded this, but find it out useless. It's just bmtl with higher melting temp.

It won't transfer heat, as i can remember.

QRTZ should be perfect for your use. Try colouring it if you don't like the colour. It breaks under pressure(depends on its heat for brittle-ness) and melts at quite a high temperature.

Yes, it melts at 2500 C, but that's not enough. It can't resist plasma.

Mat it with a heat transferring material then.

Then this material will melt. Depending on what i will use...

You show some respect. This would be pointless, we can accomplish most of these effects with existing elements. Why add a whole new element?

You make the container out of SHD4, you fire a PLSM-heater PHOT beam into the material. The material will melt and the container will be intact.
