Laser: There are hundreds of lasers out there, I want to do something original RAM: People have already made it pretty compact, I probably won't really be able to improve upon it RTG: I'll do it if I can think of a way to control the decay Connect Four: Great idea, I'm going to start that now! Graphing calculator: Fitting a calculator, memory for the variables, a way to graph it and a decent-resolution screen would be nearly impossible in a 600x400 screen. @mniip: I'm not sure what you mean by that, could you explain it in more detail?
@DRAGONF0RCE A realistic engine, or just an engine (for it to be an engine, it needs a fuel inlet valve, an exhaust gas valve and not using cloned fire. :P).
A) the rtg i doubt would work currently as its requires use of thermo couples to generate power and we dont have thermo couples
B) i like the 18 segment display idea
C) lasers are over done so unless you think of some amazing new thing to do with em then theres not much to do
D) graphing calculator might work IF you made it so it only did like basic functions, like JUST linear equations and for the display use array based lines like have a box on each of the points of a 5 unit by 5 unit grid with an array for all 8 basic directions
