Pressure Wall

I've been making creations latly that could use a Pressure Wall.

    Pressure Wall
Allows particles, blocks pressure. Allows solids, liquids, gasses, stationary particles, all particles *specifically electronics*).
It can be used to make mini nuclear reactors, and a list of other things that would otherwise get destroyed by the psi, like WIFI! It get kinda annoying having to leave an empty space of that PRTO can recieve spark, PLUS several PRTO's linked to several PRTI's with the same channel but only a few PRTO recieves the spark. When you destroy a TON of concentrated DEUT, it creates a TON of pressure, and I can't create a miniture city with 175.89 pressure blowing down homes, buildings and draining lakes.

    Dose anyone else agree?
I think it would be a great addition to TPT, what about you?

To you know who: I didn't use a ton of CAPS this time so I would love for you to not lock my post! Thank you!

This has been suggested many times, and has been rejected because if pressure stops, a particle loses it's momentum and gets stuck in the wall. (as I remember)

    Sorry!

There's probably an easy work around for this, like somehow combining the function of fan wall. A good question for Simon either way.

I suggested it mainly for ELECTRONICS, not Moving particles. It can STOP pressure from DESTROYING wifi and other brittle elements. We have Energy Wall (Allows energy particles), Liquid Permeable Wall (allows liquids), Absorbing wall (absorbs particles), Non-permeable wall (blocks particles), Gas permeable wall (allows gasses), Gravity wall (blocks gravity), but the only wall we don't have is ---> Pressure Wall (blocks air).

Different walls are there for different purposes ---> Pressure Wall is not designed for MOVING PARTICLES, it's designed for BLOCKING AIR from destroying and affecting particles.

I can't make it any more simple than that.
Check the list of walls and you'll see that it's 1 if not several that are missing (havn't been added yet) that could be very useful to creators. I proved my point in my own way and provided facts, accepted or not, I'm entitled to my own opinions and belifs. Good Day Sir!

By the Way: Thanks Catelite for understanding!

Most people just put electronics inside of their own encased wall areas, for that.

not necasarilly, what if the wall blocked pressure yet let through velocity? that way, the paricles won't get stuck. I'm sure such a thing is possible.

yes, I understand what you mean.
The problem however, I have described already.
If you want a particle to pass through a wall but the pressure not to, the following happens.
Because pressure causes particle movement, it means that a particle can't move without it, therefore, if a particle is pushed into a wall, but the pressure causing it's movment cannot, the particle will stop, because there is no longer anything moving it. The particle becomes stuck in the wall and inert. The only thing that will let it escape, as I can see, is gravity, and the wall would only work in a downward direction.

    @therocketeer
Ask catelite, she coded the alternate air modes mod, and should be quite knoledgeable about it.

    ok!

do you think this would be possible if it only let velocity through?

either find a way for the velocity thign to work ( it SHOULD work because you can do it with grav ( having grav push particle then have grav turn off and particle keeps moving ( only works with pushing tho not pulling.....(btw this is in fact a parenthesis in a parenthesis in a parenthesis in a parenthesis XD ))))

OR just do like Catelite said and have a wall with a fan/conveyor belt ish property so a particle will always be pushed thorugh the wall at a specific speed in the direction it came from, then only problem would be the possibility of stuff hitting each other in wall and stopping .........
