Minecraft 1.8 released!

    I know there are alot of minecraft players around here so I thought it'd be good if I pointed out that after two prereleases, minecraft 1.8 is finally out, with the only major bugs being chests and sometimes other entities flashing black.

    and the absence of a fog key and endermen are too easy and strongholds are too rare and the bedrock fog and endermen can destroy your stuff and no snow and chests are small and look out of place now and food won't heal you anymore :S

    So they changed normal mode by realistic mode or they are different things?

    Also, before 1.8 I could run minecraft smoothly at far. Now, with every other setting the same, it is so choppy and my laptop runs slow on normal.
