Minecraft problems i had...

    For the past couple of weeks my minecraft has not updated.So I could not update to 1.7.3 but 3 days ago I started to care more about the situation knowing 1.8 was coming out.So well I posted in the support section on the minecraft forum for help.But yeah my minecraft would not update to 1.7.3 it was stuck on 1.7.2. Eventually this guy named PsYLoR came by and told me how to fix the problem.He told me how to do it but well I did not listen to him completely.It was really late at night and I was not thinking very well.He told me to back up my .minecraft but I didnt.After I did what he said my minecraft updated.YAY!!! But then another problem approached I soon discovered my minecraft worlds were gone.I then realized by not backing up my .minecraft I lost a bunch of minecraft data.FAIL!!! So I made another thread asking for help again.I was pretty sure my minecraft data was in my recycling bin.So after I made a thread I went in there and saw the .minecraft.I clicked on recover but well I was thinking maybe I shouldn't because I might mess something up.But after 20 minutes I decided to do it anyways.I opened my recycling bin back up.But this time the .minecraft was not in there OH FUCK SON!!! Lol I literally started crying wow...I hit the recover all button and well it messed up so well I was depressed... I opened my minecraft up I was gonna make another world.I then soon noticed my worlds were back... Which I am extremely happy about... I just thought i would share this interesting story with you all.But my life has always been a living hell X________________X http://z0r.de/1727 I almost lost the game ;( Pee wee Herman i did not lose the game shut up... http://z0r.de/2079 I recovered my saves did i not? (Sorry i find it humerous funny.)

    OMG, You son of a... I almost had a heart attack looking at the first link (didn't spect it, I am with my headphones with all volume up and it's night time XD).
    BTW, endermans are kinda scary don't they?

    and OFTEN
    DON'T overwrite old backups, you might need them
    always do a COMPLETE backup BEFORE updating, or you may go through that again
