no not really i mean blackholes bend light to them and eats it or sort like ;p so there can be other stars just so far away with blackholes before them you won't see the light but they exist

You could escape from a black hole. but it's "Future" tech.

You have to go FASTER than the speed of light in order to escape from a black hole.
