Gamma rays still remain as relics of the big bang, the only reason mankind can detect them is that the universe is finite. I'll put it this way, Darkfire's argument is a theory that has never been proven wrong before.

@code1949 why can you make an estatement that the universe is finite if you can detect gammarays ??

more likely it's just hard to get that something exists that's infinite but i'm almost sure it is.

Gamma rays are constantly produced, but I know what you mean.
So, are you saying that they "Bounce" back at us?
Because if that is what you mean, then it would take the time it took to get there and to get back... so I don't think I know what you mean. Explain please, or supply a source.
Anything that has not been proved nor disproved is postulate.

Well they used to be gamma rays, now they are radiowaves, they do not "bounce", because the universe curves in on itself, the radiation's trajectory is curved.

The information is from a book called "Quantum Zoo" by Marcus Chown.

Also, the multiple universe theory perfectly explains inflation.

    I see. I understand now.

Anyway. I think we should get back on topic now.

There is probably a reality whereby the dark ages never happened. That would mean we would be centuries more advanced.

Actually, the multiple universe theory states that there are infinite realities where that happen as there is an infinite amount of universes for every single possibility.

Well then i want to make a device that gets us between those infinate amount of universes so whos gonna help me (lol)

Right ontopic i agree with @code1949 inthat there is an ifinate amount of universes for every single possible eventuallity

The sky is dark at night, therefore the universe is finite.
A cookie to anyone who understands.

If it was infinite, light from distant galaxies would eventually reach us.
