No, it's not. Chromium is what Google Chrome is based off of. Google simply made MINOR changes(no real functionality changes) and rebranded it. Same engines, rendering, base features...

Google Chrome most of the time, though when I'm on Linux I use Firefox because chrome goes buggy.

Chrome, used Firefox, it's ugly, used Opera, it doesn't show IDs of any kind, used IE, and actually still use it sometimes for special ocasions, but I hate it for obvious reasons.
