So I made a raygun and I am trying to make it to where when you spark the trigger it is automatic, and then when you spark it again it stops. Any ideas?

yes, we DO need the actual save as there ARE switchs that can be made for this type of thing

We don't need it at all, it's just the current progress ( Of the concept ) that may help

ok, so if the raygun looks like this
    ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
    -------------------------------------------
    ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

where z is the outer part of the lazer and - is the laser beam, just add the openable wall right here
    ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
    -------------------------W
    ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

then attach metal to the ouside (or conductive wall

    ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
    ------------------------W
    ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZIZ
    I

    then add swich

    ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
    ------------------------W
    ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZIZ
    I
    S

    add battery

    ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
    ------------------------W
    ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZIZ
    I
    S
    B
connect pscn and nscn wire to the swich

    ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
    ------------------------W
    ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZIZ
    I
    NNNNSPPPP
    B

and Their you go. now, whenever you spark the pscn side, the raygun will turn on, and whenever you sprk the nscn side, it'll turn off.

(sorry if my spelling is off, I can barely see the screen!)

edit: it didn't really come out the way I wanted it too :(

A flip-flop switch? Just look around at some other saves that have them then give credit if you use the flip-flop.
Possibly switching onto a timer that turns the laser on/off every so often?

Spark the METL at the bottom.
Dont spark too often, and BTW this took me like 30 seconds.
