I think THRM could use an upgrade, instead of acting like powdered lava, when lit it would darken to a shade lighter than coal and would have a fire shock wave go through it kind of like how a large block of c-4 detonates (not all at once), it would then seem to smolder (it would have a small fire-ish glow to it but it wouldn't produce smoke) but the temp would be around the temp the THRM-lava is now (around 3000). so in the end you would have a number of blackish glowing very hot particles. (also for everybody who liked a "powdered lava" you could just rename the currant THRM to powdered lava (PDLV)

@randalserrano(View Post) THRM already does that. Yes, i think the particles (before burning) could have a more reddish color (due to the iron oxide). I've actually seen a thermite reaction, so it needs to produce more smke, and at times it "pops". That's the reaction i saw. Think of putting water in oil (but the oil isn't on fire), with even more smke. Yes, it does burn easily and yes it does create tons of heat.
