    What's to prevent a user from having the test in one window and the rules open in another?

    there would be nothing, but at least there would be some reading of the rules and that person shouldnt have an excuse for why they were breaking the rules.

    and wut about AJAX topic search?
    when u are cteating new thread u type its name.
    then ajax works and shows threads associated to it.
    ex: u enter "whats wrong with console?" it filters it to "console-wrong" and shows a link to "LUA CONSOLE SUCKS (AKA read this post)" thread
    that will decrease noob's questions

    how are new players going to open the rules when the forum is blocked until they take the test. there is one link to the rules and after they go to the test they cannot open that link again. on the refresher quiz, the rules will be taken off the forum during the test and put back afterwards.
