What is the significance of the number 404?

it is a type of error i think it means cant be found

In programming terms, a 404 error means that a required file cannot be found - for example, it may have ben deleted. An example of it happening is the above - when a save has been embedded, and then deleted, that dog save comes up. Also on the internet when you click a link to a discontinued URL.
