    its like this..

    completely connected. ALL THINGS CONNECTED
Air conditioner <-------------------- extension cord ------------------------------------------> socket thing COMPLETELY PLUGGED.

i touched the metal conductor on the plug, but im suprised i wasnt electrecuted..

How could you have touched the pin if it was in the socket?

no, before i plugged in the plug of the air conditioner on the extension cord, one of the metal conductors didnt hit the 2nd socket, so one of them was sticking out.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electric_shock
The lethality of an electric shock is dependent on several variables:
Current (the higher the current, the more likely it is lethal)
Duration (the longer the duration, the more likely it is lethal — safety switches may limit time of current flow)
Pathway (if current flows through the heart muscle, it is more likely to be lethal)
Voltage (the higher the voltage, the lower the resistance and the more likely dielectric breakdown occurs)

    That's a broken circuit, won't pass electricity.

Unless you completely plug it in then it won't conduct, there was still a bit sticking out other wise you wouldn't have been able to touch it.

it still conducts electricity even if one metal conductor is sticking out.
the gap is a lil wide, so of course i can touch it..

go do it yourself, but i wont be paying for your funeral.

it stops electricity from flowing to non-metals suck as skin
