    TPT needs some sort of proxy network settings tab because firewalls block access to the net. In a rush sorry its so brief. Will comment when i have time.

    As far as I know every time a program connects for the first time to the Internet if the firewall is on it shows a pop-up asking if you allow it or not. If you press accept it will put it on the Allow list and never ask you again.

    If you use a Dedicated Firewall , its your problem. Check your settings.

    He never said he had a problem.

    @maniachacker
    Do you want it like that so you can connect to it at school?

    Maniachacker:
    because firewalls block access to the net

    That is his problem. Snitzi was suggesting a possible solution for personal firewalls.
    However it seems Maniachacker wants to circumvent a firewall that he does not have access to, or the network he is on requires him to use a local proxy server to access the web.

    Just set up a proxy for your whole internet. Windows can do that right? I use Linux, and it's quite easy to do. Host your own proxy even, so the proxy won't be blocked. Change IPs as needed.

    If you wish to configure Powder Toy to use a proxy, use the "proxy:" command line argument and append the proxy in the format address:port.
    i.e: proxy:10.1.1.1:3128

    Okay well thankyou for all your answers. Snitzi i know what you are talking about, its what happens at home but no luck at school. Yes my firewall at home does not even ask for net acess so its fine. I was talking about at school (got it in one heyjd). My school seems to block all outgoing connections so i was hopeing their could be some method of implementing it as if it were a webpage hit, mabey an option. I was thinking along these lines because my school seems to block ALL program connections minus internet explorer, but new webproxys work fine. I am really not sure just putting out some ideas. Sorry DucTape as far as i know you cant individual programs need to have the proxy details.

    If this is not possible mabey an offline save feature?

    There is already an offline save feature. CTRL + S and they are saved as Stamps.
