As U know we have 99 WIFI channels only
    I think we need more.
Is it possible to make 2D channel map where X is TEMP and Y is TMP ?
    We will have 25344 channels!

It would be easier if we had a channel tool. Though I'm not sure if they're still working on it.

Channel is currently stored in tmp, and recalculated from the temperature on each frame. Surely a simpler request would be to decrease the temperature gap between channels? Especially since, at the moment, there is no way except console to change tmp.

Also, I thought we had 101 channels...

Not if it's done right. When loading older saves, Powder Toy could work out the old wifi channel and then set the temperature accordingly, so that they still have the same channel and so are still connected.

Jackson, I preffer not. I don't use console to change temperature, I use HEAT and COOL. And those aren't very exact, so decreasing the gap size would make it harder.

I don't use console for wifi temperature either. I was merely pointing out that the original suggestion was not a sensible one (and then correcting some misinformation :-P).

As Lockheedmartin said, a channel tool would be nice. I think we'd probably need a channel tool before adding any more channels is seriously considered.

    I offer these channels names:

    LLN , where L are letters A-Z , N is number 0-96

The amount of channels will be
    64896<65535

    An addition to mniip's idea:

And for older saves, the wifi temps could be converted to the new channel sys. 0-99 degrees would become channel aa0, 100-199 would convert to channel aa1, etc.
