    Hmm.. I have not seen any talk of dark matter yet. (In case you did not know, its currently one of the bigger mysteries of space)

    The balance betwean dark matter and dark energy determins the shape of the universe. If there is more dark energy the universe will become infinitely negativly curved (similer to the hyper torus), if there is more dark matter the universe will become positively curved and there for closed (a sphere)
