Element suggestion
I think there should be some sort of base, to counter attack the acid. If the base is strong enough it could be corrosive. When the base meets the acid a chemical reaction would happen, and leave a salt and water, and possibly leave of Co2.
Probably been suggested before, but i think it would be pretty cool to stop acid run off

We CAN make it bigger with the scale:2 thing, it's close to fullscreen and it's far enough -

Burns at reasonably high temperatures but not efficently
Turns into:
