try removing powder.pref and see if it works. also try renaming the stamps/ or Saves/ folder to see if one might be the problem. I once had tpt crash at startup because of a corrupted stamp.

so how do i use this? I just download and extract and all that stuff like regular powder toy download, or do i have to morph it with regular powder toy or something? Also, whats the difference with regular powder toy and powder toy legacy, cuz i have legacy.

Just download and extract. It's (usually) that easy (unless a few files are missing. Then you have to do another download).

Powder Toy Legacy is meant for older computers that can't handle TPT as well as newer computers.

This one has no files missing :D Just one download, even works from the .zip. It's 100% separate. You can put it in the same folder and have it use your old powder.pref and login, or a separate one if you want that separate.

well, until you download the next version ... i'll figure out how to deal with that somehow. The current version doesn't require msvcr100.dll like all other previous versions did, but the next one probably will again since the new way doesn't work for some (on windows XP?). Don't worry about the dll for now though.

-legacy does not use sse2 instructions, which are nonexistent/slow on some old CPUs, thats all

can you make a moving solids tool? because idk how to make they move with the console

hmm ... moving solids are just a fun thing to play with, a tool might work but would be odd, since you can't just set individual particles to be part of a moving solid, it has to be entire elements. (well actually with some more work I could have individual moving solids ... but maybe for later). Using this tool and clicking something would make all of that element type slowly bounce and disappear since it was not previously initialized to a proper moving solid.

So, in the console it's actually pretty easy, tpt.moving_solid(<element you want to make moving solid in quotes>). once you type tpt.mo you can just auto complete it with tab.
