Age is no excuse for your behaviour. 2 FPS is a fairly large improvement. I am a programmer and I can assure that it's small improvements like that all over a program that make the biggest difference. At the moment no one has multithreaded The Powder Toy because now IS NOT THE TIME. We would need to write a threading function that is multiplatform and easy to use and it would require a lot of rewrites in the way Powder Toy works. If you don't know how to do it, then you have no right to tell people to do it for you, it's gonna require a fair bit of work and you can't pin that on someone else. -
lol tm. BUT 2 fps if only used once in the entire program it would not be worth it if it would then allow you to change somthing else to boost performace by 3 fps or 5 then its fine but 2 fps on it own makes no diffrence unless scalling is taken into account so a filled screen with water runs 2 fps faster when you change this then with nothing in the screen you would take the avrage speed you get with screen filled multiplied buy when you have somthing like a gun or what you like in the screen then it would make a drastic improvment. my idea for multi threading was just a suggestion just because I don;'t know how to code does not mean i don't know what im thinking about I really thought you people would be smart enough to acctualy take into account what i'm saying and not go to the way I said it otherwise your just here searching for somthing you can comment on to make you feel a bit better about yourself READ what it means not how it is written!!!!!!!!!!!!
