I usually edit the changelogs with notepad and upload them. This was a quick thing I did as a joke when talking to 4722202468 on irc and I edited it from the website that the updates are stored on. It was supposed to be the color code for grey but the editor didn't like the special character and must have deleted it. So it showed up as gFix instead of \bgFix

    Version 24.0 Released!

    Version 24.0 7/12/13
Decrease tool strength by half, holding ctrl slows it more and holding shift speeds it up. Re-arrange tools menu a little and update the tool and wall descriptions. A ton of simulation updates and bugfixes from tpt++. Change internal version number to 88.0 (doesn't affect saving). ctrl+z works better and goes back to the last time you drew something or opened a save. Overhaul of tabs. They now save more info inside them, and they have their own thumbnails and names. Right clicking a tab will delete it, and you can use the reload button to reload a tab. Ctrl+s to save it and set a new reload point, ctrl+n to start a new tab, 't' to open / close the tabs menu. If installed, hitting "open" on the website will open the save in a new tab. Fix tpt.moving_solid. Fix issue where multiple comments could be highlighted at once in save preview and console. A bunch of fixes relating to walls and photons with flood fill. Time enabled by default in HUD.

The main thing in this is the rewrite of tabs, which is really awesome. I actually used this version to make this save, it would have been very annoying to make without it:

I would often make backups as I was working on it by opening a new tab and going back to the first one, and the main helpful thing is that I could do some stuff, press ctrl+s, let my simulation run and break itself, and then just hit reload to go back to when I hit ctrl+s. I didn't need to save it as a stamp / local save / server save every time I wanted to unpause it, which was very helpful.

It was also nice because when working on it I might hit "open" on the website to open an unrelated save and it would save what I was doing and open a new tab with that save. I would close the tab when done and go back to working. I'd also like to note that the saves aren't simulating or anything when they aren't loaded, they are just save files sitting on your computer. Also this is a large improvement to the autosave feature (which I may remove), since you can save any time, and if it crashes or your computer does something, all the tabs are still there when you come back.

Also another note: i'm on linux right now. I compiled for 32/64 sse2/legacy linux, and for sse2/legacy windows, but the windows builds require 3 dll's that aren't included in the normal updates. That's why i'm not putting the windows build on the update server until i'm back on windows. Update: I just reorganized the lib order and the static compile worked fully. It now requires no dlls at all and i'm pushing the update onto the update server.

Download Version 24.0 - legacy for windows. Use this if your computer is too old for the first one or it's just somehow faster
Download Version 24.0 for 32 bit linux.
Download Version 24.0 - legacy (no sse2) for 32 bit linux.
Download Version 24.0 for 64 bit linux.

I don't know if this is a glitch, but selected elements haven't moved to the beginning of the favorites bar for the past 2 or 3 updates. Should I try to delete everything but stamps and reinstall?

reinstalling really won't do much, since this isn't a game that has to be installed.

So when you click an element in the fav. menu, it doesn't go to first in the list? And when you click something anywhere else it also doesn't?

If it won't work, you could always try deleting all your settings in powder.pref
