So, although it wont be implemented soon, is it still being worked on? or has it been ditched so to say?

The whole idea's been ditched in favour of simple, good old multithreading. Thought it could be a while before that's finished.

I thank you for the quick reply. So just to clear it all up, is the current TPT with multithreading? or is that the new system being worked on?

The current TPT does not multi thread, yes it is being worked on by the sounds of it

Well, some parts of the rendering is multithreaded.

Not that rendering takes up many CPU-cycles ;)

At first I thought it was referencing OpenGL! Haha! I almost panicked then because I'm altering it slightly to work on jailbroken iPod Touch/iPhone and the hardware for those devices has absolutely no support for OpenGL (that I know of).

    It appears as though I was wrong: [url=http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?desktop_uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3F v%3D3Kr kU70J4rE&v=3KrkU70J4rE&gl=US]iPhone OpenGL demo[/url]

Also, google "iPhone OpenGL", without the quotes. O_O I had no idea!

EDIT: Hmmm...it seems that the URL tag for my hyperlink isn't working properly. Just copy/paste the URL into the URL bar of your browser.
