Kydonia's Mainland, now some 60 miles in diameter, has anchors that drop down and drill into the ground, keeping the floating city in a single spot. Kydonia can then either drop down drill tubes, or send small submersible drilling craft to get all the materials needed to keep the nation in working order. The secret of Kydonia's almost limitless floatation will remain a secret, and not even be revealed to the public of Kydonia.

The vietnamese people, who now renamed themselves as the "Reunited Lands" (R.L. for short), began building and re-inventing the cannon for defense, naval, and terraforming purposes.

They also started hammering together pieces of metal to create unique hand-to-hand combat weapons. The longbow and crossbow are now being used by the R.L. as their primary ranged weapon.

The Kydonian Mainland is currently near the Wake Islands.
More smaller Mini Mainlands are beginning construction. These floating villages will soon become self-sufficient cities of their own. These new cities are named Gladstone, Glennon-Height, Halholme and Percival, after the original other 4 who first travelled with Seth to create Kydonia.

The AHC creates the largest celebration parties and hosts it in Sofia and Bucharest. 50,000 people attend to all the concerts, beer festivals, food contests and dance parties. Overall, a great success and the AH population's morale is through the roof.

After the success of the 2000 party in the AHC, a Kydonian diplomat gets a disturbing message. Apparently one of the nations broadcasted to the others to "Nuke Kydonia to bits." All ABMs and Point Defense systems are put on orange alert, and DefCon 4 is announced. Regiments of Kydonian Marines, Legionnary Scout Forces, LCasts, and a detachment of Praetorian Guard prepare to get shipped up to the 5 Condors above the Mainland. These air fortresses are all armed to the teeth, abd three of them have been equipped with ventral CPB Lances. Air Superiority fighters and interceptors mobilize, as well as more Combat Air Patrols. Kydonia sends a message to the nation: "If you want to fight, then fight me like a real man, and put down those nukes." Kydonia also sends messages to all the other nations, asking them to only step in if asked to. The Condors and their escorts are ready to put the entire 1st, 7th and 10th Legions on the ground in 3 hours.
