Kydonian researchers have finally done it. They have bridged the gap between man and machine. When one of the Legionnary Scout Force troopers had to have his arm aputated to stop the spread of the fungus through him, research begain into artificial limbs. Now, decades later, utilizing cortical shunts and biomechanical wiring and technology, that man now has a fully functional mechanical arm. With this new technology, new supersoldiers are being fielded, and this section of Kydonian forces are hereafter known as the Legionnary Cybernetic Shock Troopers (LCST). Only certain people have the neural capacity to have their limbs and muscular and skeletal structures replaced and wired to a cortical shunt, connecting the mechanics to the brain. These troops can take almost any beating, can survive many multiple gunshots, abd much more. They can lift 500 lbs without breaking a sweat, and easily shake off a drop from 8 stories. There are currently 12 LSCTs in Kydonia's inventory.

The A.H. Academy Zoology Branch, using DNA merging technology have created an animal that is considered "perfect" for ground combat. It is a hybrid of a tiger, a bear and a German Shepard. With all the traits of these animals, its perfect for hand to hand combat, an incredible swimmer and a great companion, it can also survive in about any habitat. Such creatures, nicknamed "Scruffies" due to their fuzzy fur, are being born in special zoological reservations by the A.H. Army.

As all the other civilizations from other countries research such extrordinary technologies, a large community of survivors in Vietnam managed to build huge cities in the trees, researching catapults and spring-dart (non-gunpowder) guns and cannons. We manage to get a new radio up, with clear transmission, and send contact with the outside world.

Because I just recently found out about the lightning phenomenon, I'm really not sure how RNN is exactly going to explain Tesla weaponry, but I'm guessing it's still possible so I'm still going to do it.
The first Tesla generator is produced, consisting of a magnet-driven dynamo attached to a powerful transformer. RNN engineers request AHC's sanction to install it onto one of their plasma devices to experiment. It will last much longer than with a nuclear reactor, which would from time to time need to be replaced with fuel-rods.
ODUs are being equipped with Iota-1 replicas. Beware.
Time to create first Tesla weaponry: 4 months.

The AHC has finished creating smaller plasma weapons for infantry. Technology theft is rendered impossible, since as long as the soldier is killed, the plasma will melt the gun fom the inside out and destroy it. All troops are now equipped with these plasma rifles and engineers have created many variants, some long-range powerful rifles, some short range very fast-firing rifles and some that react like a flamthrower, without any magnetic field holding the plasma in one blob to create a cloud of gas.
The AHC is very close to a breakthrough in a new A.I. system. (3 months)

AH engineers have created THE GUNGINE. It is a secondary aircraft engine that works fully via weapon recoil. The engine is basically a collection of a lot of machine guns that when fired generate enough recoil to keep the craft in the air and they also launch a stream of bullets in the rear, so it will be used in interception and dogfights to stop attackers.

The biggest secret of Kydonia has been completed. It is still a secret, a precaution to ensure the survival of Kydonia, as well as other nations, if a certain event were to happen.
The ventral CPB Lance has been added to every Condor-class air fortress. Condors are now being refitted for exoatmospherical travel. Timeline projected: 6 months.
