Ok everyone, it looks like, unless something goes terribly wrong, I should have PT 38.0 ready for the iPod Touch/iPhone tomorrow. The next day or so after that, I should have PT 39.0 ready. At least, that is what it looks like right now. After that I may try to make a signed version for those who don't want to, or can't, jb. I'll have to see what that would take. Though, that's all assuming that the UI doesn't need changed to work on the iDevices. We'll see.

Just a warning to everyone, starting today, since my initial account issues on here have been resolved, I will be posting under the handle Excimer-Sun-Software from now on.

    Please make the app free.

It is licensed under GPL so he has to make the source avaliable. So if he makes it cost someone else can just compile it and put it on app store.

Don't worry, I don't plan to make a profit off of this. I'm doing this for fun and also for the community since a large amount of interest has been shown in a version for iPod/iPhone. Also, good news, I edited the makefile to comment/remove all of the x86/Win32 stuff and tried another make using my previously mentioned Python script and the text output from the script to the log file was "***No make errors raised." and it appears as though the compile went ok. Now to see if it'll run.

Oh! Ouch! The make went fine, but when I tried make-install, I got one the longest error read-outs I've ever seen! I'll try to get the errors output to a text file to see if I can tell what's wrong. If not I'll post the readout here.

My bad. It really is the 'make' giving the errors. I just had a stupid mistake in my script that was writing over the error output with "*** No make errors raised." . Stupid mistake, but I fixed it. Now I've got a big long error redout to deal with from make. Oh well.
