Finally, Nalan Marine Forces (NMF) have constructed the first rough model of the new 'rail gun'. Its projectile is made of tungsten and is propelled purely by electromagnetic mumbo jumbo forces, (yes, even I don't understand it completely).

Since NMF was set up such things were only science fiction concepts we shown in childrens' TV programs, but now, it's coming into reality! So far RNN has not experienced many fungal infections since the precautions were set up around our borders and fertile fields. Some groups think the breaking out of this fungus may have been preordained by our government, which isn't true...I repeat...isn't true. Only two citizens have been found to be infected and were immediately put in quarantine.

One had to be killed as there was no hope for him, but the second turned out to be 'immune'. Three days passed and he is still sane, conscious, free-minded and no growths. Scientists hypothesize the fungus may have mutated and died or just was simply destroyed by the immune systems of that person. 

We are thinking on attempting to derive a cure from that person. No trades just yet.

With vaccines flowing in from our new ally of Kydonia, most, if not all of the AHC's population is rendered immune to the fungus. Despite this, quarantine protocols remain strict and cities are still checked for the disease every month, thankfully, no fungal breakthroughs were found.

AHC researchers have created the first ever fussion bomb. It was tested in the empty quarter and the results were devastating. One of the fussion bomb (nicknamed 'the F bomb' for convenience) is dropped in the area were the fungus is thought to thrive. The fungus 'hive-mind' was greatly damaged, but only the outer layer of mould and a little bit of the inner one were destroyed, meaning that the hive-mind has yet to be destroyed. (if you're wondering why it was so puny, this is the first design of an F bomb)

The AHC launches more colonies on the Moon, now the population on it is almost 1500 people. Hoooooray!
