In doing so, I also buy myself the time to go back in time and prevent myself from ever creating the paradox, rewriting time. I now was never even trapped in a paradox in the first place, never had to sacrifice myself. Time has swept those events under the rug.

Whether I did all that out of self-preservation or as a matter of necessity, the universe acting through me to protect its existence from the paradox, we will never know.
