Try SING vs AMTR, notice who wins lol. Against normal objects SING is good. Thunder has a challenger in destruction...

Why dont you add the hidden elements (not the ones in the hidden menu) like BRAY in the main menu and enable the hidden menu (so its visible) since it is your mod.
Also C-5 does not work properly.

    • BRAY would be useless. Use ARAY and a conductor to make it instead. (Frankly, I'm not sure what it's used for aside from transferring electricity and creating points where two BRAYs intersect.)
    • SPRK doesn't set off C-5 (I recommend the name be changed to prevent confusion), nor does fire. Use CFLM instead. Ironically, though, C-5's detonation will spew hot CFLM everywhere...I'm not sure whether this is intentional or not.

I can't remember, but did I actually post my suggestion for hard-coded explosions? I know I spent a while writing one, but I couldn't find a mirror of EnigmaSand 4 or so (long story) and might have just skipped the post because of it.

Anyway, BOMB is fun, but we need a version that would go off on receiving SPRK (presumably only via silicon, including NSCN, for space reasons). Additionally, having a larger 'glob' should increase the effects instead of just spraying the particles around, similar to how detonating more TNT in one place will create a larger explosion instead of flinging burning chunks of explosive material all over the place.
I imagine we could get away with calling it TATB, and making it detonate at either 50 pressure, 3000°C (no, this temperature is not true to the way TATB works, and yes, this is more practical), contact with plasma, or being detonated by electric shock--in this case PSCN, NSCN, or QRTZ would take the role of the detonator.

EDIT: I am almost entirely certain that the issue is either in how it receives the information from the server or in how the game tries to render the previews for saves. I am not sure which, but the former seems potentially likely. And yes, it does this in the official version (44 something or other) as well.
Additionally, the previews for stamps preview fine.

it does?? i'm pretty sure it should be cold, might be a windows only thing.(edit: nope, anything i do causes cold CFLM, maybe you turned heat simulation off?)

i think simon is going to change BOMB to explode slightly different.

what is the EDIT about? what issue

Hmm... C5 sort of of acts like a fuse when you put in lines. It should still work like like C4, but with cold flames. You should also add the Cracker Menu (witch is a case of changing a 0 to a 1) and add the other hidden elements like DYST, (not BRAY), PLEX, FOAM, CSCN, and HCSN (the last four elements I found in a few places in powder.h)

I'm certain it was off. BOMB heated up the BMTL I dropped it on, caused it to melt, and showed the heat transfer with the new gradient system.
If it helps, the BMTL was around 500 °C. I'm not sure--maybe CFLM absorbs heat as quickly as it transfers cold, since the C-5 was touching the metal (I tried to use it to set off the C-5 I'd drawn around it).

    jamesoleruster:
If memory serves, it's actually a little more complex than that. Not by much, though.

um, the only thing that COULD be added is DYST and BRAY, those other elements don't exist, PLEX is C-4, FOAM was an old element that died and probably got left in a comment, i have no idea what those last two are, probably typos.

    @jamesoleruster :
PLEX is C-4. FOAM is INSL, CSCN is NTCT, and HCSN is PTCT
