I still disagree. What if someone wants to build on an idea, like some people did with Rconover's smelter?
Again, if it's directly stolen without credit, just notify a moderator. Maybe there could be an in-game report button that would send an e-mail or a conversation message to all the moderators.
I agree with a bchandark. We need some sort of report option for users but we do not need any of these silly restrictions on what a user can and cannot do with a download. Give credit where credit is due or face consequences.
BY-NC is pretty pointless on an open-source application... would you pay for a TPT design?
BY-ND is going to get hairy, I see something you make under a ND licence, attempt to recreate it in my own way; have I just copied your work and broke the BY-ND licence or is it an original work?
::Example (I have used all these smelters ftr):: Assuming rconover put a BY-ND on his original smelter, depending on how zealous you are it could go 2 ways.
1) They're all different with the exception of petaki's which is a derived work of rconover's and just that one would be removed. -OR- 2) rconover was the first to put a smelter and under licence rendering all smelters made after a derived work based on the concept.
This could cause even bigger problems if somebody made a torture chamber, put it under PD and then somebody copied it and put it under a different licence, IIRC any derived works must be placed under a licence granting the same freedoms, so a PD derived work must be licenced under PD...
just highlighting possible problems with the CC licencing idea...
EDIT: Not like trolls like bigshit are even going to honour the licence in the first place :P
