I'll look at that and see what I can do. Though I honestly know little about makefiles (I'm a web language, Python, and terminal junkie for the most part) I'll see what I can figure out. I can usually figure things out pretty well...
Okay, just looked at it and many of the lines quite obviously reference windows, win32, x86, and i586. I also picked out the Linux and posix args, which, of course, are perfectly valid for the iPod as the iOS is a posix-based OS. Is there anything I might be missing?
refuse you the services thereof if they ever find that you have jailbroken it, but other than that, no legal ramifications. Of course, this also means that a person that wanted to make use of their warranty and had jaibroken could simply do a hard reset to get rid of the jailbreak data. Though that's assuming that your device is working well enough to boot up. Also, I'm not positive but I believe there may be an MC model jaibreak floating around out there somewhere on the internet (Google is your best friend)(Youtube too). To tell if your device is an MC model or not, got to Settings->General->About and read the first two characters of the line titled "Model". For example, mine is an MB model since, in "Model", it says "MB528LL".
Works on iPhone MC not iTouch MC....Well if I didnt update to ios 4.0 I could.
I haven't edited it yet. I'm just making sure that I'm seeing the right things in the makefile since, as I said, I know little about such things as makefiles.
@plypencil
If you mean jailbreaking, you could jb on 3.1.3, I believe, and then use this one program that I caught wind of a while back to upgrade to iOS 4 without losing the jb data. I'll look back into it and see if I can provide you with a link if you would like.
Please I would be greatful. However I have already updated to iOS 4, and none of the jailbreaking utilities will let me do it. I have not been able to find a way to roll it back, even the backup I did on iOS3 does not restore it to iOS 3.
