I don't like fusion at all, it ruins some ideas I had before using pressure and temperature. Maybe make an option to turn fusion off.

Ok, fine. remove SING from fusion and everyone will be happy. However, compression must not be removed from fusion. I am as stubborn as a partisan politician on this point. To answer the compression problem, compression = BHOL could be made an option(This is the idea I throw my support behind, and it could be put in realistic mode or something) or the compression limit could be raised to like 10 or 20 or another safe number, or particles like ELEC and PHOT could be excluded from compression(as in 6 stacked PHOT will not form BHOL). I however prefer the compression=BHOL as an option, and it would take a lot of persuasion to get me to change my mind.

@circovik: Seriously? What ideas did you have that involved keeping HYGN, NBLE, CO2, or OXYG at extreme temperatures and pressures?

I don't think you can convince them to make it an option, since I think fusion is the only compression problem that still has to be fixed. I still want the limit to be raised just a little too, because that would fix it better. Also, energy particles (ELEC, NEUT, and PHOT) don't affect the limit, along with THDR, FIGH, and EMBR (a new element that will replace bomb sparks).

I dont want ANY BHOL formed during the fusion process, period. If theres even the SLIGHTEST chance of it forming, I will be mad. SING was ok because it moves and disappears, but BHOL is stationary and permanent and will render my reactor useless, which I will not tolerate.

IN OTHER WORDS, DONT RUIN FUSION TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE COMPRESSION "FIX!!!"

This is what I have at the moment: https://github.com/jacksonmj/The-Powder-Toy/tree/test-fusion

The HYGN, NBLE, CO2, or OXYG particle turns into the next element in the fusion chain (NBLE, CO2, OXYG, or BRMT). Plasma is created in all empty space in a 5x5 pixel area centred on the fusing particle, and any plasma already there is heated and has its life value reset.

Stacked particles during fusion would be realistic if they behaved like compressed gases do in real life, but they don't at the moment.

Okay, I'll test it when I have time to see if it still works the same. I see some changes, like temperature will increase faster and PLSM might stay longer, but I don't know if those will be important.

I want to see it too.

I made a test exe here of the test changes. I think it's changed too much, but I can try and fix it another way that won't change it as much and remove most compression.

GAAH!!! What happened to fusion? Why was it made so that PHOT, PLSM, and ELEC are only produced in empty spaces? Thats messed up and I want it changed back. Also, my HYGN bombs leave no spaces in between the particles, so no PLSM, ELEC, or PHOT is produced. NO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
