alxnns1: Not a bug. This is intentional behavior. It will accept sparks from everything and (supposedly) transmit to other particles, which pass sparks to NSCN. So far, I haven't gotten it to work for more than one spark. I'll need to fiddle more, and maybe take a look at the code for some hints.
cracker64: Personally, I don't care about photon coloring. It's easiest to keep it white in nothing view, I think, because of how peculiar photons are. Since we can't delete them, we could potentially end up with a rainbow that we can't remove or ignore by going to nothing view....
Also, when I reloaded the save from last version, the FILT turned into ARAY. Oddly, it seems as though the update fixed the bug, which was that when I sparked the left button it would cause a line of INST to be drawn. Maybe I can reproduce it. As for DEUT, it's very unintuitive because when you spawn some, it generally tries to soak itself back up. However, if you can get it to the point where it's stable, it makes an excellent bomb. Because of the 'sponginess', though, I can't think of a good way to work it into a reactor or apply it in any other controlled manner.
Are the life elements going to be in the final? They seem to go against the general 'vibe' of TPT, though they're neat on their own.
yes, wifi takes spark from anything, except NSCN. it was always like that.
Carpaccio removing the battery from INST would cause some things to change, it used some helper elements that i deleted so the numbering for a few is different, i am going to add them as blank elements for now to keep old saves working, sorry about that. And now that it uses SPRK instead of the helpers, there should be no line drawing problems.
I can make DEUT spawn with higher life so it doesn't absorb itself when it is made.
yes life will be there, it could interest some different people as the life types can interact, which is in no other program i know of. I have thought of moving them into their own 'mod' so they would run faster without any of the other physics going on.
... nice work cracker... Nothing view made it into the official! (so did most of crackers things...)
now that photons are much more dynamic and manipulable, could the "emitter" element make a reappearance (i think at least one mod had/has it), except perhaps it could be activated and deactivated like lcry and such like.
I have tried making a photon gun with powered clone inside void, but when its copied and pasted, the powered clone acts very strangely, and is rarely very consistent in producing photons.
