Chrome displays all downloads.
I never saw the download icon. I never saw it download when I opened the page. The insinuation being that it would download automatically.FrankBro:
You aren't really helping either side, you know.
Edit: I'd also like to point out that you can download things that are read-only. In fact most Word documents from new versions on different programs will do this...

What you've picked out from the log doesn't help you at all, in fact it brings me to another point.
The fact is you don't know that when you open a text document in a browser, it show directly in the browser. You hit Ctrl + S, or right click Save-As to download it.
This in itself isn't bad or wrong per say, no one knows everything but to turn around and spit in frankbro's face when he helped you by answering with exactly what you needed only makes you look like an asshole. What's worse is you come in here claiming to be in the right and that he should unban you. My response to that is, fuck off you pompous prick.

That's vastly different to what you were originally saying, that is 'It's read only and I can't download it'

Oh and it's still incorrect, that file isn't read-only (see above about text files in browsers).

The only thing he chose to "help" me with was writing that I could download it repeatedly. Then proceeded to post several random trolling photos. So, who was that comment directed to?
I may argue my point like only an adolescent could, but I don't randomly troll.
Also, I never said you couldn't download read-only. Frankbro did. -

Wrong type of "read-only" file. I was talking about word documents. The log makes it sound like he's talking about all types of documents, that no file is read-only.
