Powder Toy in x64

    I have AMD Athlon X4 620 processor running on my PC, for more information about my computer, please check page 1 of this discussion;)

    That processor supports up to SSE4a (if anyone has TPT set up in a compiler that has that option I'd like a copy just to see if there is a few FPS difference)

    But is it possible to add SSE4 to the main pack when Download link is pressed on the main page?

    No, builds are made using Microsoft C Compiler, which do no SSE3/4 optimisations.

    The only thing which will compile C++/C with sse3 or newer optimizations is an intel program

    Its costs 400 USD. The only other way is to rewrite the Assembly code of the powder toy using the optimizations

    afaik, GCC supports it too.

    using -msse4 on 4.3 or newer GCC supports SSE4.2
