i'll be nice and give criticism
Meat, Blood and Bone
the concept is interesting, but this would be on moderators/developera discretion due to it being related to the human body and thus technically be """""life"""""
Cloth
it'd be good for art but not much else really
Petroleum
basically gel mixed with oil and with burntime/temp increased
i'm strangely ok with that
BInsl
for this we'd have to make insl brittle and that could break saves
Plastic
i guess it's good for realism, although it being just a glass type element isn't really changing anything
Osmium
is this a middle ground between tungsten and metal or something
anyways that's all folks i'm outta here
nuke element so you do have to make one rads would be good to
Biological elements are never going to happen, hence its physics. Play Spore for that to happen! Cloth is useless. INSL is never going to break, due to it absorbs HEAT.
I am not trying to be mean, but the LIFE Category is based on the game of Life. I found that out in 2014. If you want this to happen make a mod.
OSMI Can be good. I see a lot of possibilities to saves that make a lot of heat. and
Nuclear fox, he said that it IS broken INSL, but he said that INSL will still not be breakable. It's like EQAV, or "Diamond Dust"
The mods don't like to add a lot of new elements to the game, unless they're really, *really* new. Most of these elements are similar to preexisting elements already in the game and so, to the mods, your suggestions aren't "useful". I know, I know, they are still very useful, but from a programming perspective, they don't serve many purposes that can't already be achieved (more or less) using elements we already have.
Also, the devs don't really like "life" or "biological" elements. Not necessarily GOL-type elements, but rather elements meant to mimic biological materials. TPT started out with a mind for minerals and such-and-such, and frankly, (if you've ever taken a biology course you'll know) - life is complicated! The transistions and behaviours that an organic element would need to be halfway realistic would be far more than TPT (or its programmers) could comfortably handle.
I'm not saying your ideas aren't good, in fact - I like alot of them. But try to think of things that are "completely new" to TPT. If your suggestion starts with "It would be like [some element], but 'a bit different' ", then don't get your hopes up for it to be added. Try and keep it something that's simple to program (programmers like that), but something that can't be described well in terms of things already in TPT.
Well, we already have "simple to program" stuff in here, and even if you post those, it's gonna be 2 elements combined together, which will STILL get a TON of dislikes. And even if there are simpletoprotgram stuff that is not 2 elements combined, then it will probably be very simple (and uselss). People demand for good elements, but it has to be simple coding as well....i'll take a smart brain for this....
